Minner

Proprietary BTC trading system

A live trading dashboard for BTC perpetual futures, built on a method we developed ourselves - one that doesn't exist anywhere else. Watch it read the market, replay it on six years of history, and paper-trade it forward on the live market.

Minner - the live dashboard

What it is

Minner is a system built around a proprietary trading method developed by the two of us. The method is our own work from the ground up - it isn't a published strategy, an indicator pack or a variation on something you can find elsewhere, and it runs only here.

Around it we built the product that makes a method trustworthy: a live view of what it's watching right now, a backtest that replays it on the market since 2020 with every real cost deducted, and a forward test that paper-trades it on the live market from the moment you press start.

The problem

  • Black boxes - Most trading tools show a signal, never the reasoning or the record behind it
  • Flattering backtests - Results that leave out fees, slippage and funding
  • Tuned on the answer - Rules fitted to the same history they're then judged on
  • No live proof - Nothing that shows how it behaves after the backtest ends

What Minner does

  • Live - What the method is waiting for right now, on the chart and in plain words
  • Backtest - Replay it on history, with your own risk, every cost included
  • Forward test - Paper-trade it on the live market until a date you choose
  • Explained - Every number, layer and rule has a tooltip; a guided tour on first visit

The screens

Live

The chart shows what the method sees and the side panel says it in words: what it needs before the next trade, how far away that is, and what it did with every recent opportunity - including why it passed on the ones it skipped. Each layer on the chart can be switched on or off.

Backtest and forward test

The backtest replays the method with the risk you choose and deducts Binance fees, slippage and real historical funding from every trade. The forward test runs the same rules on the live market in the local server, so it keeps going with the page closed, and logs every event with the time it was detected.

Design decisions

01

  • Our method, our IP - The method was developed by us and exists nowhere else. The product explains what it's doing at every moment without handing out the recipe.

02

  • The honest test - Every rule was chosen on one period of history and judged on a later period it never saw - and the interface says which is which.

03

  • Costs are part of the result - Fees, slippage and funding are deducted trade by trade, so the number on screen is the number you'd have kept.

04

  • Every number explains itself - Hover anything for what it means. Line icons only, a glossary, and a short tour on the first visit.
